Background and Qualifications
Ms. Jiseve is an Associate in the Firm’s Dispute Resolution and Litigation Practice. She is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Degree from the University of Nairobi and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Law from Kenya School of Law. She also holds a Master’s Degree (LLM) in Law Governance and Democracy from the University of Nairobi.
She has previously worked at Kibatia & Co. Advocates, Onyinkwa & Co. Advocates and Mulondo, Oundo, Muiruki & Co. Advocates where she gained experience in litigation and in commercial matters.

Matters Handled
Part of the team that handled complex litigation and dispute resolution of commercial law disputes; real estate and conveyancing disputes; public procurement disputes; IP disputes and infringement matters; and family and succession disputes;
Part of the team that successfully petitioned the High Court for declaration of Regulation 13c of the Election (Registration of Voters) Regulations 2012 is unconstitutional to the extent that it curtails a voter’s right to freely make political choices and to transfer registration;
Assisted in the representation of various Governors, Members of Parliament and Members of County Assemblies in various Election Petitions;
Reviewed and drafted a variety of pleadings and legal documents;
Handled and assisted in handling several highly contested employment claims both for employers and employees revolving around unfair termination;
Represented various companies and individual clients in the recovery of debts in millions of shillings.
